Well Im quite pleased with this one

IM such a HUGE fan of his. He's my absolute favorite photographer. Just his photo's have a certain look to them that I just LOVE. So needless to say when he submitted this image I went hog wild and had to draw it! Him and Miss Apnea are such a source of insperation to me and I thank them for that. I give credit where it's due, LOL

Also I now have found out that huge hot sexy Vivid is an artist AND is here on DA. I also just recently found out ...yeah she's a Suicide Girl! So I check out her galleries. She's a BEAUTIFUL and excelent model. She also does digital art and is fucking amazing! Very good vector work. And not to mention she was very cool about not linking her because I didn't know she was on DA. But now IM linking here [link] And again hottie, thanks for the comment and the nice words!

This took me about 10 hours or so. Did it almost in one day. But it actually took two. The first day was the figure and the next was the background and final adjustmetns. Done in Koh-i-noir technical .3 mm, Brush, Winsor & Newton black india ink and white gouach for corrections and the splatter. And it was all done on Strathmore vellum bristle board.

This image really turned out quite well. I almost got what I was going for. I think that my crosshatching is a bit chaotic. But I guess it just comes with practice. This was really a fun image to do and eventhough it was very mind numbing crosshatching. It was still a nice relaxing pic.
